About
Ogechi founded the chambers to practise law the way she believes it should be written: plainly, in advance, and under one’s own name. Her surrogacy and fertility practice grew from family law work in which she saw, repeatedly, how much avoidable grief traced back to arrangements documented too casually, and how little serious Nigerian legal writing existed to guide the people entering them.
She acts for intending parents, surrogates and fertility clinics across the full arc of assisted reproduction arrangements, and for families in custody, dissolution and guardianship matters. Her published analysis of Nigeria’s surrogacy landscape anchors the chambers’ Chambers Notes.
Outside chambers, she is an unhurried reader of judgments other people find boring, and the person most likely to redraft a restaurant menu’s fine print in her head.
